tail lights. Their presence filled the woods as<br />

through a dark, abandoned house. Their<br />

shrieking seemed to come from everywhere.<br />

They were surrounded. Julie began<br />

screaming as another jumped against the<br />

windshield.<br />

“Jesus fucking Christ!” she screamed.<br />

“Go, already!”<br />

The attack happened very quickly. But,<br />

Marty kept himself together long enough to<br />

find the keys and start the engine. Julie was<br />

not faring nearly as well, bringing her knees<br />

up and firmly covering her ears. Trying to<br />

block out the sounds of the packs malicious<br />

appetite. Marty put the RV into reverse and<br />

The pack, driven mad by hunger, followed<br />

them to the main road. A few ran ahead,<br />

only to be blinded by the RV's headlights<br />

and run over like frogs crossing a highway.<br />
