Dates<br />
<strong>Summer</strong>Link and the Zone camps<br />
are offered Monday through Friday,<br />
June 4 through August 3, 2012. We<br />
will be closed on Wednesday, July 4.<br />
Choose one day or all 44!<br />
Times<br />
Camps run Monday through Friday,<br />
9 a.m.–3 p.m. Before/After Camp is<br />
also available from 6:30–9 a.m. and<br />
3–6 p.m. at no additional cost.<br />
Cost (per week)<br />
5 days: $180<br />
4 days: $159<br />
3 days: $132<br />
2 days: $99<br />
1 day: $60<br />
Price includes all field trips<br />
and two snacks.<br />

Camps are staffed by highly<br />
qualified and trained employees of<br />
the <strong>Rockwood</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong><br />
Adventure Club program.<br />
Locations<br />
We are located in several air<br />
conditioned schools across the<br />
<strong>Rockwood</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong>. All<br />
locations provide the ideal setting<br />
for the summer with access to<br />
athletic fields, playgrounds, district<br />
pools, libraries, computer centers,<br />
and indoor gyms.<br />

Your <strong>Summer</strong> Connection for Elementary Students<br />
<strong>Summer</strong>Link is a perfect blend of fun and enrichment activities.<br />
Each week, campers are offered presentations, creative projects,<br />
and field trips that will encourage them to use their imagination,<br />
laugh, and build friendships. Learning opportunities are plentiful<br />
and fun is abundant. Utilizing the facilities of <strong>Rockwood</strong> schools,<br />
<strong>Summer</strong>Link campers experience art, music, theater, science,<br />
technology, and physical activity. Don’t let your K–5th grader miss<br />
the fun of this memorable summer experience!<br />
the Zone<br />
Taking it to the Next Level for Middle <strong>School</strong> Students<br />
The Zone offers middle school students opportunities for<br />
fun and enrichment throughout the summer. The Zone<br />
recognizes that autonomy and independence are as<br />
important for middle school students as having fun. For this<br />
reason they are asked to give input on projects, activities,<br />
field trips, and guest speakers. Middle school students<br />
attending the Zone get to be a creator of their own<br />
summer experience—one that is not only fun, but<br />
rewarding and memorable!<br />
Have you ever sat behind the wheel of a<br />
military Humvee? The Zone students are<br />
able to explore all that St. Louis has to offer.<br />
<strong>Summer</strong>Link students use their<br />
imaginations to decide whether<br />
their helmet will protect them on<br />
their bike, turn them into a robot,<br />
or take them to the moon.<br />

Arrival: 6:30–9 a.m.<br />
Students can choose from a variety of activities and games to start the day.<br />
Organized projects are available or students can spend time in the gym or<br />
outside, on the computer, reading, or listening to music.<br />
Camp: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.<br />
The day is packed with tons of fun and activity. Check out the activity<br />
calendars online at www.rockwood.k12.mo.us/adventureclub for a glimpse<br />
of the field trips, speakers, sports, and experiments going on at each site!<br />
Pick-up: 3–6 p.m.<br />
The formal part of camp is over, yet the fun continues! Students are involved<br />
with hands-on activities, and a snack keeps them going to finish the day!
