A. Program Update Schedule (Construction: Fall 2009 – 2013) A. Projects Completed: 2 B. Projects in Construction: 5 C. Projects out to Bid: 2 D. Projects in Planning for Bid: 2 E. Projects Approved by DSA: 11 F. Projects in DSA for approval: 7 G. Projects in Design: 2 Entering Year 4, there are eleven projects ready for construction with none of those projects approved to go out to bid. It is our recommendation that the <strong>Bond</strong> Program be expedited in order to meet the original goal of a 2013 completion date and also to take advantage of a financially advantageous bid climate. 4
A. Program Update Schedule (cont.) A few ways to accomplish this goal of expediting the Construction Schedule of the Program include: 1. Supplement Construction Management staff a. Outside CM firm is being reviewed 2. Group projects together a. Bid out 4-5 projects to the same contractor 3. Utilize the closed schools for interim housing a. Currently gaining information from the <strong>School</strong> Closure Transition team 5
