and Transportworkers The British Minister of Labour 1944’, circa 1944, the two piece case with two push buttons, silvered dial,<br />

radiumed Arabic numerals, and hands, centre seconds chronograph, and three subsidiary dials running hours, minutes and seconds,<br />

with seventeen jewel Swiss chronograph movement, the case 4mm including lugs, on a black leather strap<br />

Between the 1920s and 1950s, Bevin was a central figure in the British Labour movement and in British foreign policy. In 1940 he was<br />

appointed Minister of Labour by Winston Churchill in the wartime coalition government.<br />
