and Transportworkers The British Minister of Labour 1944’, circa 1944, the two piece case with two push buttons, silvered dial,
radiumed Arabic numerals, and hands, centre seconds chronograph, and three subsidiary dials running hours, minutes and seconds,
with seventeen jewel Swiss chronograph movement, the case 4mm including lugs, on a black leather strap
Between the 1920s and 1950s, Bevin was a central figure in the British Labour movement and in British foreign policy. In 1940 he was
appointed Minister of Labour by Winston Churchill in the wartime coalition government.
