16 Seminars and trainings Fall EQ Certification and EQ Specialty Training Calendar These Emotional Intelligence training events are designed for coaches and consultants who want to add Emotional Intelligence to their tool box, either through certification in the use of our EQ In Action Profile or by participating in our specialty MASTER’S classes for coaches and consultants. These sessions are highly interactive with coaches learning from one another as well as from the instructors who have years of experience as PhD clinical psychologists, Emotional Intelligence instructors, and as faculty at various universities. Teaching assignments will include field placement and senior capstone project. The director will coordinate program activities, curriculum development, accreditation, and program review under the supervision of the division dean. The director is responsible for recommending faculty/staff hiring and supervision, coordinating the annual schedule of instruction, providing advising services to program students, serving on a variety of program and college-wide committees, and monitoring of the program budget. The position reports to the Dean of Health and Human Services. Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Abilities • PhD, or EdD in education or social sciences. • Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience in an adult setting. • Demonstrated ability to manage programs. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex and diverse academic environment. • Documented experience with practitioners in human services. • Demonstrated abilities using computer applications. • Documented teaching skills.
