Guide to Shabbat: Connect and Celebrate.
Bring Your Family Together with the Friday Night Meal
In the 21st century’s jam-packed 24 hour days, how does a modern mom find time to bake a challah,
let alone create a meaningful Shabbat celebration for her entire family? With conversational topics
like “A Little Kabbalah with your Challah” to “Oy, Teens,” Jacobs teaches us how to take advantage
of our 52 chances each year to escape from our ridiculous schedules and to connect as a Jewish family.
