Quadstock attracts a mix of upcoming and established musical acts from the city and beyond, such as Seattle’s own hip-hop outfit Common Market.
commemorate the 20th anniversary,
Bush and Taylor plan to release
old footage and photo-graphs of
past Quadstocks and give away
memorabilia. They are also working
on inviting as many alumni as
possible, particularly SEAC alums
and past Quadstock chairs so they can
be recognized at the festival.
In the future, Taylor envisions
Quadstock continuing the tradition
of bringing great live acts to SU but also
looking for ways to grow and evolve.
“With an event as large and well
known as Quadstock, there is pressure
from students for innovation and fresh
ideas. It will be exciting to see where it
goes from here,” he says.
Bush and Taylor are in the process
of trying to connect with former
chairs and SEAC presidents to build
a retrospective of the past two decades
of Quadstock. If you have memories to
share, e-mail SEAC@seattleu.edu.
