<strong>ALLEVYN</strong> Ag is a unique mix of the existing <strong>ALLEVYN</strong>
triple layer foam technology with enhanced silver
sulfadiazine (SSD) providing long wear time with longlasting
antimicrobial protection
SSD is released into the wound bed over seven days:
• Effective against a broad <strong>range</strong> of pathogens,
including bacteria, yeast, fungi and antibioticresistant
strains
• Easy to use - silver is released when in contact with
wound fluid
• Does not form pseudoeschar
(unlike other SSD preparations)
