INFRASTRUCTURE SAFETY RENEWAL PROGRAM<br />
Signals <strong>and</strong> Communications Systems<br />
• Installation of st<strong>and</strong>ard communications infrastructure, consisting of lateral copper <strong>and</strong> fiber optic cables, on the Airport<br />
Regional Rail Line.<br />
• Replacement of the existing copper-connected communications modems in all field Remote Terminal Units (RTU) with fiber<br />
optics units between 16 th Street Interlocking <strong>and</strong> "K" Interlocking on the Regional Rail Main Line.<br />
• Refurbishment of public address control units at all passenger stations on the Doylestown Regional Rail Line.<br />
• Replacement of computer-based remote train control equipment (TCE) on the Market-Frankford Line <strong>and</strong> on the Regional Rail<br />
