During November, services of Remembrance<br />
are held throughout the world. In Britain, and<br />
the Commonwealth in particular, these services<br />
are of a militaristic nature remembering the<br />
fallen and rightly so, because it was King<br />
George V who ordered these events to be held<br />
in perpetuity on the 11 th hour of the 11 th day<br />
at the 11 th month, the exact time when the<br />
Armistice was signed bringing to an end WW1,<br />
the so called war to end all wars.<br />
A Service of Remembrance will be held here<br />
in Memorial Garden, Parque Los Palicios,<br />
Camposol Sector A at 1130am on the 11 th<br />
November. This service will reflect the multinational<br />
and multi-cultural nature of the Society<br />
we live in here and will commemorate the lives<br />
of those who have died, from all nationalities<br />
and religions, in whatever circumstances.<br />
It will also include the traditional Act of<br />
Remembrance at 12 o’clock – 11am UK time.<br />
All are cordially invited, but you are requested<br />
to bring a chair if you can. Proceeds from the<br />
collection will be donated for the upkeep and<br />
improvement of the Memorial Garden. Hope<br />

Other Services of Remembrance will be held<br />
on Sunday 13 th November, Remembrance<br />
Sunday, all are invited as usual.<br />
The summer has brought to the Church many<br />
new friends in the form of those moving to<br />
live in Camposol and those holidaying here.<br />
We are now more or less back to our regular<br />
congregation, many of whom have been away.<br />
As always it is a joy to meet new people and to<br />
see others returning with many stories to tell.<br />

All services are in English and take place at<br />
Calle Sobrija 2248, D20 Camposol, where a<br />
warm welcome awaits you. We have a very<br />
active ministry in the German language led<br />
by Rev Bro Konrad, who holds services in San<br />
José Church, Puerto de Mazarrón, on the 2 nd<br />
and 4 th Sundays at 4pm. Services offered by<br />
the Church are Wedding Blessings, Holy<br />
Baptism, Confirmation and Funerals. We<br />
have a Pastoral Service throughout the year,<br />
people who listen. Talk and are there to help<br />
anyone who is sick or in need. The Pastoral<br />
care is absolutely confidential.<br />
