BU broke 300 for the first time in 20 NCAA rounds and the<br />
Colnials held on for seventh place among 23 teams. Tim<br />
Woods shot rounds of 72-76-74-73 to finish 10th with the<br />
lowest <strong>Binghamton</strong> score (+7) in five years of NCAA play. BU<br />
shot final rounds of 303 and 301 for the program’s fourth<br />
top-10 national finish in five years.<br />
2000 Championship<br />
Glade Springs Resort, Daniels, W. Va.<br />
In the team’s first year as a Division II program, <strong>Binghamton</strong><br />
qualified for the NCAA Division II Northern Regional, and<br />
played steady golf to finish 11th in the field. All-District<br />
player Robb Gibb led the team with a 15th place showing,<br />
thanks to a pair of 74s in his last two rounds.<br />
2003 Championship<br />
Auburn <strong>University</strong> GC, Auburn, Ala.<br />
In the team’s second year as a Division I program, BU<br />
advanced to the NCAA East Regional and placed 22nd in a<br />
field that included national powers Clemson, Georgia Tech,<br />
Florida and Wake Forest among others. Lefty Kevin Crawford<br />
was BU’s low man with a +8 total (77-75-72) and finished in<br />
the top half of the field.<br />
