Walkabouts
CORBY BOROUGH COUNCIL
Every 3 months your Community Involvement Officer, Housing Officer and Neighbourhood Warden take
part in community walkabouts. Representatives from Environmental Quality, Repairs and Maintenance, Kier
Street Services, the Police, as well as residents, are invited to take part in the walkabouts to look at all sorts
of issues that may affect your estate or village. From looking at untidy communal areas and open spaces
to checking for abandoned cars and fly tipping, their role is to ensure that your estate or village is a more
pleasant place to live in.
Want To Join Us?
For these walkabouts to be as successful as possible we would like to encourage all residents to join us. If you are
a wheelchair or a mobility scooter user are you aware that you are most welcome to take part in our community
walkabouts to help us undertake a thorough inspection and to ensure that we are aware of as many issues as
possible? It is also a good way for everyone to actively participate in the environmental well-being of the estate
or village that they live in.
