NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Sealed tenders are invited from the Registered Travel Agencies having A/C,
Non-A/C Boleros ,32 seated and 17 seated Buses for engagement on hire basis in
different Mines / Camps under Chrome Region for the year 2009-10. The last date of
receipt of the tender is on 07.03.09 by 3.30 p.m. which will be opened on the same
day in the presence of the bidders or their authorised representative.The intending
bidders are requested to visit our website www.orissamining.com for details or collect
the same from the Office of the Regional Manager, OMC Ltd., Jajpur Road in any
working day.

Eligibility:-
1. The Light vehicles must not be beyond three years of purchase from the
Authorised Dealer/Distributor/Manufacturer as on 31.03.2010 and the Bus
must not be beyond 5 years of purchase as on 31.03.2010.
The vehicles should be registered as Commercial vehicle.
2. The agency has to give an undertaking that the vehicle does not belong to
the employee of OMC or his/her relatives. In case, at point of time, the
declaration given by the agency found to be incorrect, the contract shall be
cancelled and EMD will be forfeited.
3. All repair and maintenance (Minor & Major) of the vehicle, Lubricants, all
statutory and other liabilities shall be the sole responsibility of the owner.
4. OMC Ltd. will supply HSD @ 10 KM per litr. For A/C. Bolero, @ 12 KM
per lit. for Non-A/C Vehicles & @ 6 KM per lit. for 32 seated Bus and @
8 KM per Lit. for 17 seated Bus.
5. Rate should be quoted on Monthly Basis.

6. Payment will be made on monthly basis after submission of bills in
duplicate. Duly certified by the Officer-in-charge after necessary deduction
of Income Tax or any other Tax, if applicable.
7. The Agency should provide experienced drivers with for the light vehicles
and driver having First-Aid badges and helper for Bus.

8. While quoting the rate, impact of Tax liabilities imposed by Central/
State/Local bodies if any shall be indicated separately.
9. In case of any accident and/or illegal use of the vehicle during the contract
agreement period, the agency shall be responsible for all such lapses and
liable to pay the compensation .
10. In case of idle or brake-down due to above reasons, the agency has to
provide a substitute vehicle of similar type failing which penalty shall be
imposed @ double the contract rate calculated on daily basis.
11. The eligible agency should produce all the original documents for
verification before engagement of vehicle.
12. The vehicle should be provided with First-Aid Box.
13. One OFF DAY shall be provided in a week for repair & maintenance of
the vehicle.
14. EMD of Rs.10,000.00 per vehicle in shape of D.D. drawn in favour of
Orissa Mining Corporation Ltd. payable at JK Road has to be deposited by
the agency. The said EMD/Security deposit will be forfeited in case of
discontinuity of the contract.
15. The agency has to submit the copy of the Registration of Service tax along
with the Techno-commercial bid. The service tax if reimbursed by the
corporation shall have to be deposited with the Tax Authorities by the
agency at his own risk and OMC shall not be liable for such lapse if any.
Two sealed envelops, one for “Techno-Commercial Bid” & another for
“Price Bid” should be submitted in a single sealed envelope.
The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the
tenders or distribute amongst the eligible bidders without assigning
any reason thereof.

1. Xerox copy of R.C.Book.
2. Xerox copy of valid Insurance.
3. Xerox copy of Fitness Certificate.
4. Xerox copy of Pollution Control Certificate.
5. Xerox copy of the valid Driving license of the Driver.
6. Xerox copy of Route permit.
7. Xerox copy of the First-Aid Certificate issued in favour of the driver by the
competent authority of the bus.
8. EMD of Rs.10, 00/-per vehicle in shape of D.D.
drawn in favour of OMC Ltd on any National Bank operated at J.K.Road &
payable at J.K.Road.
9. Xerox copy of the PAN.
10. Xerox Copy of the registration of Service Tax.

PRICE-BID
The tenderer should mention the hire charges per month as per the format
given below. Rates must be written in typed form both figures & words & overwriting
shall be treated as disqualification.
