NOTICE INVITING TENDER<br />

Sealed tenders in prescribed format are invited from the interested registered Non Govt.<br />

Organization (NGO), /Self Help Group/ Co-op. Society registered under Indian Society<br />

Registration Act and firms (registered) for supply of the food items under Mid day meal scheme<br />

to the students of the Daitari High School in the District of Keonjhar for the fiscal year 2013-14.<br />

The details of the tender with terms and conditions is available in OMC Website<br />

www.orissamining.com . The same can also be down loaded for submission of tender and Rs.<br />

200/- (Rupees Two hhundred only ) along with VAT @ 5 % is to be paid by DDD drawn in favour<br />

of OMC Ltd, Daitari payable at Bank Of India, Daitari/Andhra Bank, Bamnipal/ SBI, Jajpur Road<br />

towards the cost of tender paper and to be enclosed with the pre-qualification bid. The tender<br />

document will also be available from the Material Section of OMC Ltd., Daitari from dtd.<br />

30.04.2013 to 23.05.2013 during the office hour on working day by depositing Rs. 200/- along<br />

with VAT @ 5 % towards cost of tender paper. The last date of submission of tender is<br />

scheduled on dtd 23.05.2013 upto 33.30 P.M. and shall be opened on the same day at 4.00 P.M.<br />

in the presence of the tenderer or their authorized representative. Negotiation with selected<br />

bidders will be done either on same day or on any subsequent date as per decision of the<br />

undersigned.<br />

To provide nutritional diet as per the following norms fixed by Odisha <strong>Mining</strong> <strong>Corporation</strong><br />

Ltd to students of class VI to X of High School run by OMC Ltd. under Mid Day Meal<br />

Scheme on every school working days.. The requirement has been specified as per<br />

student per day.<br />

The food prior to serve among the students are liable to be tested by the<br />

Medical officer/Headmaster. Regularity in supply of the foodstuffs shall be maintained. For<br />

instances of unhygienic food served , children falling ill/ sub-standard supplies the work order/<br />

Service order issued shall be terminated forthwith leading to expeditious action against the<br />

agency .The tender schedule available in OMC website: “can be downloaded and submitted<br />

along with the cost of tender paper. The same is also available in the Material Section of OMC<br />

Ltd, Daitari on payment of Rs.200/-(Rupees Two Hundred) only + 5% VAT (non-refundable)<br />

during all working days up-to 23.05.2013. The last date of receipt of the tender is scheduled at<br />

3.30PM on 23.05.2013 and subsequently the same shall be opened on the same day at 4.00 PM<br />

in presence of the tenderer or their authorised representatives.<br />

Pre qualification bid should contain the following documents.<br />

EMD of Rs. 10,000/- only in shape of D.D. drawn in favour of OMC Ltd, Daitari payable at Bank<br />

Of India, Daitari/Andhra Bank, Bamnipal/ SBI, Jajpur Road. The tender without EMD shall not be<br />

taken in to consideration. The EMD of unsuccessful bidder will be refunded within 60 days after


finalization of tender without any interest & EMD of successful bidder will be converted as<br />

security deposit and will be refunded after completion of work as per the work order and after<br />

settlement of payment otherwise the SD shall be forfeited.<br />

Demand draft for Rs. 200/- along with VAT @ 5 % towards cost of tender paper if down loaded<br />

from OMC website www.orissamining.com .<br />

Photocopy of Income Tax, PAN along with tender.<br />

Proof of execution if any in support of supply of Mid day meal or similar type of order in other<br />

organization.<br />

In case of any legal dispute to this work it will be within the jurisdiction of the Court in the<br />

district of Keonjhar.<br />

Price/rate should be quoted as per price bid format.<br />

The agency shall supply the food items weekly once to the Daitari High School as<br />

required.Incase the agency fails to deliver the food items prior to one week in advance , to<br />

prevent discontinuation of providing Midday meal , the procurement committee shall procure<br />

the good quality food items from the local market and the cost there of along with penalty @<br />

0.25% per week shall be recovered from the agency.<br />

The food items selected for MDM in schools approved by OMC will continue until further order.<br />

There should not be any compromise in supply of the approved quality & quantity of the food<br />

items.<br />

The food items under MDM is to be delivered at the Daitari High school in advance for<br />

maintaining the safe stock.<br />

100 % payment shall be released once in every month at the regional office against the delivery<br />

of the food items subject to inspection & acceptance by the competent authority.<br />

Last date of Receipt of Tender bids:- Dated 23.05.2013 up to 3.30 PM<br />

Date of opening Tender bids:- Dated 23.05.2013 at 4.00 PM in presence of the bidders or their<br />

authorized representatives.<br />

TERMS & CONDITIONS:-<br />

Successful bidder shall have to execute an agreement to supply the good quality food items<br />

under MDM at Daitari High school & for instances of unhygienic food served , children falling<br />

ill/ sub-standard supplies the work order/ Service order issued shall be terminated forthwith<br />

leading to expeditious action against the agency.


The pre qualification bid and price bid should be put in separate sealed envelop super scribing<br />

the concern bid and again both the bids put in another sealed envelop super scribing “TENDER<br />

FOR MIDDAY MEAL FOR THE YEAR 2013-14.”<br />

The OMC Ltd. reserves the right to cancel all or as a part of the tender without assigning<br />

any reason there of.<br />
