received a loan (hereinafter called the<br />

(herein after called the Bank) and a credit<br />
from the International Development<br />
Association toward the cost of the St.<br />
Lucia OECS Education Development<br />

payments under the contracts for the<br />
procurement of computer equipment<br />
and accessories, divided into 3 lots, for<br />
twenty existing secondary schools and<br />

The Government of St. Lucia,<br />
herein represented by the Ministry<br />
of Education, Human Resource<br />
Development, Youth and Sports, now<br />
invites sealed bids from eligible and<br />
qualified bidders for the supply of<br />
computer equipment and accessories<br />
for twenty existing secondary schools<br />
and eight District Education Offices.<br />
Bidding will be conducted through<br />
the International Competitive Bidding<br />
(ICB) procedures specified in the<br />
World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement<br />
Under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits<br />
and is open to all bidders from Eligible<br />
Source Countries as defined in the<br />
Procurement Guidelines. Delivery is<br />
required in July, within six to eight<br />
weeks from contract signature. The<br />
bidder must have supplied computer<br />
equipment and accessories over the<br />
previous five (5) years. Maintenance<br />
services must be provided preferably<br />
by a local representative/authorised<br />
agent in St. Lucia or an authorised<br />
agent within the Caribbean Region.<br />
