September means back to school for<br />
the University <strong>of</strong> Ottawa’s more than<br />
40,000 students, and orientation week is an<br />
exciting time for newcomers and returnees alike.<br />
The <strong>Student</strong> Academic Support Service (SASS),<br />
in collaboration with Community Life Service<br />
and the student associations, organizes academic<br />
and social activities that take place from the end<br />
<strong>of</strong> August to mid-September.<br />
<strong>Student</strong>s already familiar with the University<br />
are there to greet you. They help you find your<br />
way around campus, become familiar with the<br />
various University programs and services, and<br />
settle in to your residence room. Orientation<br />
week is also the chance for returning students<br />
to give you Gee-Gees fever!<br />
