Implementations shall provide classification predicates which deliver a true-false
response and signal no exception.
• issigned(x ) iff x has negative sign, and applies equally to zeros and NaNs.
• isnormal( x ) iff x is normal (not zero, subnormal, infinity, or NaN).
• isfinite(x ) iff x is zero, subnormal or normal (not infinity or NaN).
• iszero(x ) iff x = ±0.
• issubnormal( x ) iff x is subnormal.
• isinf(x ) iff x is infinity.
• isnan( x ) iff x is a NaN.
• issignaling( x ) iff x is an optional signaling NaN.
