EUCA VET
‚ is a feed supplement for cows, calves, horses, sows, pigs, young animals (lambs, piglets), poultry, dogs
and cats.
EUCA VET
‚ has positive effects on the digestive tract especially in animals with high levels of productivity particularly
going through a productivity phase with high physical strain, such as fattening and reproduction and during the
relaxation period after physical stress.
Carbo ligni is produced by charcoal burning of vegetable components and is well known for its surface activity.
Its effect is supported by Senna leaves, Rhubarb roots and sulphur.
Mint oil and fennel oil support the production of digestive jucie and reduce the production of fermentation gases.
Thus they support the well being of the animals and help stimulating the natural digestive process.
Therefore the productivity and the utilisation of feed is optimised.
When should Eucarvet VET be used?
Cows: especially for intensive fed cows in the milk and meat production
Calves and piglets: for stabilisation of the physiological digestion
Horses including ponies: for stabilisation of the physiological digestion
Sows: for stabilisation of the physiological digestion; 1-5 days before and 1-5 days after littering
Pigs: for stabilisation of the physiological digestion
Young animals: for intensive fed animals, water should be made available at any time.
Poultry: for stabilisation of the physiological digestion
Dogs and cats: for stabilisation of the physiological digestion
is a feed supplement for dogs and cats.
has positive effects on the digestive tract especially in animals going through stress situations due to high
physical strain such as changes in feed, long car journeys, changes in the weather, dog shows, and competitions.
Carbo ligni is produced by charcoal burning of vegetable components and is well known for its surface active effect.
Vegetable charcoal can bind toxins and has a mild calming effect on the digestive tract.
Rhubarb contains tannins and at a low dosage it calms the digestive tract. At the stated dosage it supports physiological digestion.
Other specific vegetable ingredients may have a mild stimulating effect on the digestive tract if given at doses higher than those
recommended.
Sulphur has a mild bactericidal effect and is thus able to stabilise the physiological intestinal flora and prevent proliferation of
undesirable bacteria in the gut.
Mint oil and fennel oil support the production of digestive juices and reduce the production of fermentation gases. As a result
they support the well being of the animal and help to promote the natural digestive processes.
The combination of the ingredients named has a stabilising effect on the digestive tract if used as directed.
When to use
Dogs and cats: to stabilise physiological digestion.
General information on the physiology of digestion:
The majority of digestive disturbances are attributable to feeding errors and stress. The cause is often abrupt change in diet
together with inappropriate feed composition (overfeeding, too much carbohydrate, feed that has gone off or is contaminated,
feed that is cold or contains too much fat). Chemical compounds (e.g. insecticides) can also cause digestive disorders
and not least digestive disturbances can be stress-related. Also in our pets stress affects their digestion and they react with
diarrhoea or less often by becoming constipated. In most cases these disturbances can be eradicated by a day of fasting followed
by an appropriate diet (e.g. rice or chicken). Plenty of fluids should be given and in some cases it may be necessary to
give electrolyte solutions. Furthermore feed supplements such as
, which support and stabilise the digestion, have
been used successfully. These help to restore and regulate the normal digestion more quickly. If disturbances in digestion
have not stabilised within a few days veterinary advice should be sought without delay.
How to use
Feed recommendation: 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight to be given as two divided doses in the morning and evening.
It is essential to give the recommended dose in two halves morning and evening to maintain continuous regulation of the
digestion. For small dogs the tablet should be halved with a knife or tablet divider (10 kg dog). Larger dogs are given the tablets
whole or broken up in the feed. For animals that refuse to take the tablet, it can be crushed (between two table-spoons
or using a tablet mortar) and stirred into luke-warm water and syringed directly into the mouth.
Care should be taken that the animal has enough fluid available.
Recommended feed duration: 1 - 5 days.
Keep in a dry place at room temperature (15 - 25 °C).
Keep out of the reach of children.
