Dosage suggestion
1 Tablet per 10 Kg of body weight distributed over
two feedings (in the mornings and in the evenings).
The recommended dosage must be halved
and each half given in the mornings and in the
evenings in order to obtain a continuing regulation
of the digestive processes.
For small dogs (10 kg)
the tablet should be halved with a knife or with a
device to part tablets.
Larger dogs
receive the tablets either as a whole or in small
pieces with feed.
If animals refuse intake, tablets can be crushed
(between two spoons or with a mortar), mixed
with lukewarm water and directly fed orally with a
syringe.
Suggested duration of application: 2-5 days
It is essential that the animal has access to
sufficient water.

General information on the digestive physiology
of cats and dogs:
Most dysfunctions of the alimentary system are
due to errors in feeding and stress. Usually an
abrupt change of feed as well as an inappropriate
composition of feed (excess supply of feed, excess
of carbohydrates, decomposed or polluted feed, too
cold or too fatty feed) causes these dysfunctions.
Sometimes chemical substances (e.g. insecticide)
can be the reason or, last but not least, stress-related
digestive dysfunctions.
Stress affects our pets´ digestion in the form of
diarrhoea or, more rarely, constipation. Usually these
dysfunctions can be cured by one day of fasting and
an adjacent diet (e.g. Rice or Chicken). In doing
so it is essential to see to sufficient supply of water.
Sometimes application of electrolytic solutions may
be necessary.
Additionally, feed supplements that support and
stabilise digestion, such as EUCARVET have been
proven effective. These feed supplements help reestablish
and regulate natural digestion. If digestive
dysfunctions are not healed within a few days,
veterinarian advice must be sought.
Dosage suggestion for dogs and cats
If defecation is frequent (and soft or fluid) due to
stress of travel, intake of decomposed feed or snow,
it is suggested to feed 1 tablet / 10 kg body weight.
Our pets suffer increasingly from digestive
dysfunctions due to hypersensitivities or allergies
to certain foods. The constantly increasing
environmental pollution and feeding of feeds that are
loaded with preserving agents as well as frequent
change of feeds can, similarly to humans, lead
to alternating digestive dysfunction. Oppressive
discomforts alternate with soft to fluid defecation.
In animals that suffer from alternating digestive
dysfunction frequently, EUCARVET can stabilise
digestion (1 tablet / 10 kg body weight).
Nowadays it often happens that decomposed feed
is given to our pets. The feed, especially dry feed,
doesn’t actually look decomposed, but is polluted
with metabolites from mildew due to vendors´ or
customers´ inappropriate storage in e.g. damp
conditions. In these cases it is suggested to feed
1-2 tablets EUCARVET / 10kg body weight so that
EUCARVET activates digestive functions and gets rid
of decomposed food quicker.
If digestive activities are diminished or oppressive
discomforts or very hard excrements occur, it is
suggested to feed 2-3 tablets /10kg body weight
to activate and stabilise digestion. When the
oppressive discomforts cease and stool becomes
softer, the dosage can be reduced to 1 tablet /10kg
body weight.
Further applications
EUCARVET can also stabilise and support the
digestion of horses, bovines, sheep, goats, pigs
and poultry.
