Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd
(ST Engineering). As one of Asia’s leading
defence and specialty vehicles company, ST
Kinetics has a strong portfolio of products and
services for the defence, homeland security
and commercial markets. Their capabilities
include the design and development,
systems integration, production, operations,
support and through life management of
a wide range of specialised land systems
equipment and specialty vehicles.
Kinetics Integrated Manufacturing (KIM) is
the platform and weapons manufacturing
hub of ST Kinetics. In recent years, Kinetics
Integrated Engineering (KIE) was formed
to tap on KIM’s comprehensive range
of manufacturing facilities to serve the
commercial market. Currently, KIE provides
customised solutions, products and
services in the area of rapid deployment,
specialty vehicles, contract manufacturing
and engineering design for the defence and
commercial markets
ST Kinetics is made up of three business
groups, namely Land Systems & Solutions,
Specialty Vehicles & Services and Total
Support & Services groups.
Key capabilities:
- Welding: GMAW, GTAW and SMAW
- Heat treatment: annealing, normalising, stress relief,
hardening, gas nitriding, carbonitriding, solution
treatment, sub-zero treatment
- Chemical finishing: Chemical analyses and testing, zinc and
manganese phosphating, hard chroming, black oxidising,
selectron plating
- Surface treatment/plating: blasting, painting and coating
- Precision machining: horizontal machining and boring,
turn-mill, deep-hole boring, deep-hole milling
- Fabrication: water jet and CO2 laser plate cutting
