Marion G. Anema, PhD, RN, has held faculty appointments at a variety of educational<br />

institutions, including most recently: Associate Director, <strong>Nursing</strong> Programs,<br />

College of Health Professions, Western Governors University; Mentor<br />

and Faculty Chair, Walden University; Dean, School of <strong>Nursing</strong>, Tennessee State<br />

University; and Assistant Dean, Texas Woman’s University, Dallas. Dr. Anema<br />

is currently a consultant developing online nursing programs at MidAmerica<br />

Learning in Abilene, Texas. She holds certificates as an online instructor in case<br />

management, online quality management, and intensive bioethics (Georgetown<br />

University). Her scholarly articles have been published in Dimensions of Critical<br />

Care <strong>Nursing</strong>, the Journal of <strong>Nursing</strong> Administration, <strong>Nursing</strong>, the Journal of<br />

<strong>Nursing</strong> <strong>Education</strong>, Nurse Educator, International <strong>Nursing</strong> Review, Computers<br />

in <strong>Nursing</strong>, and the Journal of Continuing <strong>Education</strong> in <strong>Nursing</strong>, among others.<br />

Jan McCoy, PhD, RN, has been a school nurse, flight nurse, and cardiac catheterization<br />

lab nurse. For the major part of her nursing career she held appointments<br />

at Central Wyoming College. At Central Wyoming College, she was a member<br />

of the nursing faculty; <strong>Nursing</strong> Program Director; Division Chair, Professional/<br />

Technical Division, and Allied Health Division; and Director of Distance <strong>Education</strong>/Lifelong<br />

Learning. More recently, Dr. McCoy has served as a nursing faculty<br />

member at Walden University; Individual Service Coordinator, Wyoming Department<br />

of Health; and Independent Contractor and Consultant for Sylvan Learning<br />

Systems; as well as interim Director of <strong>Nursing</strong> Programs and Mentor at Western<br />

Governors University, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. McCoy continues to offer consulting<br />

services for nursing programs involved in curriculum development/revision<br />

and/or program accreditation processes. She holds an online instructor<br />

certificate from Walden University and was awarded a Kellogg Fellowship<br />

through the University of Portland.
