5. At least 80% of students will rate their DPD academic advising as satisfactory or<br />
higher.<br />
6. Over a five-year period, 60% of DPD graduates will apply to supervised practice<br />
programs the year they complete the program.<br />
7. Over a five-year period, 80% of those applying to supervised practice programs<br />
during the academic year they complete the program will be accepted.<br />
8. Over a five-year period, the pass rate for DPD graduates taking the registration<br />
examination for the first time will be 80% or above.<br />
Goal 2: The program will encourage students to participate in professional, leadership and<br />
community service activities and will help students develop the ability to engage the culture<br />
with cultural competence.<br />
Outcomes for Goal 2<br />
1. At least 75% of students will participate in professional activities (e.g., ADA student<br />
member, SPU nutrition club, attendance at local food and nutrition meetings &<br />
events), leadership or community service activities.<br />
2. At least 75% of alumni will participate in professional, leadership or community<br />
service activities.<br />
3. At least 60% of graduates will rate their <strong>Seattle</strong> <strong>Pacific</strong> <strong>University</strong> education as<br />
satisfactory or better for its contribution to their cultural competence.<br />
