5. At least 80% of students will rate their DPD academic advising as satisfactory or
higher.
6. Over a five-year period, 60% of DPD graduates will apply to supervised practice
programs the year they complete the program.
7. Over a five-year period, 80% of those applying to supervised practice programs
during the academic year they complete the program will be accepted.
8. Over a five-year period, the pass rate for DPD graduates taking the registration
examination for the first time will be 80% or above.
Goal 2: The program will encourage students to participate in professional, leadership and
community service activities and will help students develop the ability to engage the culture
with cultural competence.
Outcomes for Goal 2
1. At least 75% of students will participate in professional activities (e.g., ADA student
member, SPU nutrition club, attendance at local food and nutrition meetings &
events), leadership or community service activities.
2. At least 75% of alumni will participate in professional, leadership or community
service activities.
3. At least 60% of graduates will rate their Seattle Pacific University education as
satisfactory or better for its contribution to their cultural competence.
