That land being not so profitable for him,
he once thought to sell it but seven
acres was a huge chunk of land. So after
thinking a lot, he decided not to sell the
land but give it on rent to the company.
The industry started its work but
pollution emanating from the factory
adversely affected the villagers. The
waste produced were dumped into water
and poisonous gases released into the
air. But Subhash was very happy as he
kept on earning money through those
land. He did not care a bit about the
environment. He was so greedy that he
did not bother to keep his father’s advice
and words about taking care of mango
trees and the farm.
One day Subhash had a horrible
dream. He dreamt that the chemical
industry which was established on
Subhash’s land had emanated so much
pollution that all the persons of village
got infected and suffered from severe
diseases and many people died. Police
came to arrest the head of industry.
However he told them that the land
didn’t belong to them but to a villager
named Subhash.
The police then arrested Subhash and
seized everything from him as he was
responsible for many deaths. All
villagers laughed at him for his deed.
While he was taken to the jail, all of a
sudden the dream broke and Subhash was
awake shouting, “oh, no!”
