Indoor Athletics
At the PEDSSA Country event for years 5,6, 7
and 8 at Canford School, Ziv Joco won the
individual event and as a team, SAA won the
team event. The team of Ziv Joco, Quassi
Waters, Jeremy Magdarila and Tom Evans.
SAA provided a team of School Games Makers,
to assist in the running of the Sports Hall
Athletics event. This was a culmination of
months of leading at a number of Poole League
fixtures, and
was a reward
for the Young
Leaders hard
work. Well
done to Molly
Winsor, Imani
Robinson,
Enola Wallis, Montana Graham, Duana Waters,
Isabelle Cleave, Alison Lindfield and Tariq
Kuyumcu.
County Representatives
Ziv Joco represented the county
in Cross Country, and performed
well in the south west championships.
Ryan Mcgowen was selected
and has played several
games for Poole and East
Dorset football squad.
Youth Cancer Trust
Recently , our YP got involved in some fundraising
for the Youth Cancer Trust. Bournemouth
University Event management students arranged
a day of football to reward schools that
had assisted in the ‘ Kicking cancer out of football
day’ This reward was a whole morning of
skills sessions delivered by AFC Bournemouth
coaching staff for our YP followed by a football
match between Bournemouth Poppies and
Bournemouth University.
