Football
SAA football goes from strength to strength,
with 4 teams competing in the PEDSSA leagues,
and results steadily improving. Well done to
Year 10 boys on their recent success against
Ashdown *photo+, the Year 11 boys on a recent
win at Carter, and the Year 8 girls on some
impressive results in their league.
Sports Leaders
At the recent Bournemouth Schools Games , we
provided the young leaders to officiate the
basketball
tournament.
They were Aaron
Eyers, Lauren Gale,
Joe Mann and
Connor Glover.
U19 National Boccia Finals in
Sheffield
Rowing
At the recent Dorset Winter Games Finals, we
had a team of Year 8 girls competing in indoor
rowing. They all achieved personal best times
but were beaten by some excellent
performances.
Fran , Millie, Poppy and Bea
From over 400 young officials trained this year,
SAA had two selected to officiate at the Nationals
- Alison Lindfield as a referee and Connor
Glover as a senior referee mentor.
Both were a credit to the Academy with Alison
refereeing a semi final and Connor mentoring
young officials through the competition.
