Distribution Transformers because of their great numbers<br />
contribute significantly more losses than substation<br />
Transformers.<br />
• Replacement of the existing inefficient Transformers in the<br />
country with energy efficient AMDT could save considerable<br />
energy losses.<br />
• The MOP could issue necessary guide lines to Power Utilities<br />
in this regard as it has done in promoting HVDS for saving<br />
Energy Losses. Power utilities going in for Energy efficient<br />
Transformers also gets Carbon Credits.
