CONCERT WITH PRIMARY SCHOOLS: 170 of our
musicians performed alongside pupils from four of
our feeder primary schools at St.David’s Hall in
Cardiff on 14 November. Members of the Brass
Ensemble greeted shoppers and concert-goers
with entertainment on the steps of St David’s Hall.
The Jazz Band and Strictly Jazz entertained during
The grand finale to the evening was a
performance by 250 pupils of a medley of songs
from ‘The Lion King’, featuring choirs from High
Cross, Marshfield, Pentrepoeth and
Rogerstone Primary Schools, directed by Mrs
S Davies. The performance was enhanced by
Mrs N Coker from High Cross school and by our
own Jacob Lloyd and Alex Hay on drum kit and
bass guitar. It really was a delight to share in
the amazing talent of our Junior School pupils.
