<strong>The</strong> governing body for international competitions is<br />
the Confédération Internationale de la Peche Sportive<br />
(C.I.P.S.), and their 2 day Angling World Championships<br />
is a team event, attracting some of the best<br />
freshwater anglers in the world.<br />
<strong>The</strong> winners are based on total catch weight instead<br />
of a heaviest single fish. So even regularly catching<br />
small fish will quickly build up your total weight.<br />
As with any sport, you can bet they’ll be the added<br />
pressure and stress during a match!<br />
Pleasure Fishing<br />
As the term indicates, it’s just a leisurely session of<br />
coarse fishing, sometimes not really thinking of catching<br />
loads of fish to compete but really to perhaps enjoy<br />
the outdoors, test out some new tackle and baits<br />
but catching well during a pleasure fishing session is<br />
always a welcomed thing.
