With Cork<br />
Cork handles are known to give better<br />
sensitivity as compared to EVA as well<br />
as other handle materials thus Yuki Ito<br />
decided on cork handles at the reel seat<br />
area where the angler holds when he or<br />
she fishes. It also looks nice adding to<br />
the aesthetics of the Destroyer.<br />
<strong>The</strong> EVA handle at the rear gives the<br />
Destroyer added protection as that is<br />
the section of any rod that sits on the<br />
ground most. EVA certainly withstands<br />
abuse better than cork and is lighter<br />
than rubber of which is tougher. <strong>The</strong><br />
whole package makes lots of sense for a<br />
freshwater type rod.
