San Diego Chorus Presents “3rd
Annual Wine, Women and Song”

Guests will have the opportunity to taste impressive wines, sample
delicious hors d’oeuvres and hear delightful music in a cappella
four-part harmony when the San Diego Chorus of Sweet Adelines
International presents its “3rd Soledad Presbyterian Church on
Saturday, September 13, 2014. The reception starts at 6pm and the
performance begins at 7pm.
This entertaining, high-energy song and dance production includes
songs performed by the fifth ranked Sweet Adelines chorus in the
world! Audience members will be treated to the chorus performing
favorites performed by the group at international competition last year
as well as some numbers from the chorus’s fall 2015 international
competition show package.
“This performance offers something for everyone even if you aren’t a
wine drinker,” said Director of San Diego Chorus Kim Vaughn. “First,
the location atop Mount Soledad offers breathtaking San Diego views
which guests can enjoy during the indoor-outdoor reception.”
"3rd Annual Wine, Women and Song” offers not only phenomenal
San Diego views, great bites, drinks and an exciting silent auction,
attendees will also enjoy live music performed by over 70 attractive
and talented women of all ages and witness rhythm, dancing and
harmony come together on stage! Some of the featured musical
numbers include: “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” the Barbra Streisand
blockbuster from “Funny Girl”; “Seasons of Love,” the hit song from the
Broadway musical “Rent”; “For Good,” the Stephen Schwartz duet from
the musical “Wicked”; “Bewitched,” the classic show tune from “Pal
Joey”; an Armed Forces medley saluting our troops; plus many more!
As an added bonus, the concert also includes a special performance
by “Night & Day”, a mixed quartet, as well as exciting performances by
some talented quartets from the San Diego Chorus.
For this fundraising event, adult admission (21 & over) is $25.00. Ages
20 and under (and non-alcohol) admission is $20.00, and student/
military admission is $15. Mount Soledad Presbyterian Church is
