LOW PROFILE LED DOWNLIGHT
Low profi le LED downlights are used in
applications with shallow ceiling voids. The
design of the LED and heatsink allows a slim
highly effi cient downlight with a contemporary
appearance, suitable for offi ce, retail and
commercial applications.

McDonalds restaurant chain wanted to retrofi t their existing luminaires
with LED downlights. In addition to a 50 percent energy reduction, the
new luminaires needed to match the physical dimensions and lumen
performance of the existing luminaires.
The client specifi ed a ROI within a 12 - 24 month period, easy installation,
and an extended warranty. The selected design would be rolled out to all
UK McDonalds restaurants.
Using the AU-DL10314, with a high effi cacy of 71lm/W and reduced
maintenance costs, the desired energy savings and ROI were achieved.
High effi cacy and a long guarantee makes
these downlights a cost effective alternative to
traditional lighting products.
