UGR - Unified Glare Rating<br />
The UGR method (Unifi ed Glare Rating) is an international index which is<br />
used to evaluate and limit the psychological direct glare from luminaires.<br />
Contrary to previous methods where the glare was rated using the<br />
luminance values of a single luminaire, this method calculates the glare of<br />
the entire lighting installation at a defi ned observer position.<br />
According to BS EN 12464, the UGR (Unifi ed Glare Rating) reference value<br />
is provided for a standard room.<br />
Maximum UGR in offi ces - UGR19<br />
Aurora LED Flat Panels can be used in lighting schemes to achieve UGR19.<br />
