At its quarterly meeting in May, the
Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees appointed
Wyatt Decker, M.D. (MMS ’90, I ’93,
EM ’97) as the new vice president
and chief executive officer in Arizona.
Dr. Decker succeeds Victor Trastek, M.D.
Dr. Decker has been with Mayo
Clinic for more than 16 years as a
consultant and professor of emergency
medicine. His leadership roles have
included chair of Emergency Medicine,
with responsibilities for the emergency
departments at Mayo Clinic in
Rochester and Jacksonville. Currently,
he is chair of the Mayo Clinic Personnel
Committee in Rochester and leads the
Rochester Destination Medical
Community initiative.
