Swiss Re’s first conference on nanotechnology was<br />
hosted by the company’s Centre for Global Dialogue<br />
in Rüschlikon, Switzerland, on 6 – 7 December 2004.<br />
This summary publication includes statements given<br />
by the conference’s keynote speakers and provides several<br />
“outside-in” views on this cutting-edge technology.<br />
The publication also serves as a pendant to Nanotechnology:<br />
<strong>Small</strong> matter, many unknowns, the “Risk perception” series<br />
