bremen online services GmbH (bos) is a leading
provider of IT solutions for secure and legally
binding online transport, signature and encryption
of electronic data within e-government, e-justice and
e-business.
Among the well-established security middleware,
the products of bos provide solutions for digital
signature, encryption, eID, and long-term storage for
digital records
The core product, Governikus, is in use within
the German e-government and in other European
countries. Governikus conforms to OSCI, is evaluated
in accordance with common criteria and certified to
fulfil the requirements of German Signature Law and
other international standards.
With Governikus add-on for Microsoft Office there’s
now a possibility to create a separate OSCI mailbox
in Microsoft Outlook for sending and receiving OSCI
messages.
Situated at Bremen’s Technology Park, bos was
founded in 1999, has more than 100 employees and
operates successfully in Germany and Europe.
