Virginia (Sergott) Sroka is a vocational
rehabilitation counselor for the
ARC.

Cathy Frank of Rome is a nurse with
the Visiting Nurse Association and is
the agency’s wound specialist.
1981
Julie Anderson was appointed director
of human development at Holy
Family Parish in Fairmount, N.Y. She
is responsible for overseeing parish
programs that assist the underserved
of the Fairmount community including
the Holy Family food pantry, which
aids more than 80 families.
Cindy Intschert, a Jefferson County
District Attorney, has been honored by
the New York State Senate as one of
New York’s “women of distinction.”
Natalie Massita has joined the main
campus of Utica School of Commerce
in Utica, N.Y.

Thomas Homan works for the Immigration
and Customs Enforcement
(ICE) as an interim associate and special
agent-in-charge. The ICE is the
investigative arm of the Department of
Homeland Security.

Jovita Bernard-Copeland is the
owner of both the Academy of Music
in Clinton, N.Y. where she teaches classical
piano and music theory, and The
Copeland Group in New Hartford,
N.Y., where she customizes music programs
for different functions, particularly
intimate gatherings.

as the medical/surgical nurse manager at
Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.

Fred Scherz and his Polka Band (FPB)
from Verona, N.Y., filmed a scene for
“The Manchurian Candidate,” a major
motion picture currently being filmed
