consultants in the course of
preparing my case and/or representing me with the understanding that
any fees or expenses in connections therewith are my sole responsibility;
5, I hereby authorize the law firm to pay a reasonable referral fee to other counsel if my
case has been referred by other counsel with the express understanding that this in 110 way will alter
my f~e obligation;
6. The place ofperfonnance of
this contract is San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. All
payments pursuant to this contract shall be made. to the law firm at its offices located at 9706
Plymouth Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78216.
7. The law finn may withdraw from my representation in this case at any time, on
reasonable notice to me.
8, Should the law firm withdraw or be discharged prior to my case becoming final, I
understand that all fees, court costs, and/or other expenses are due and payable immediately as set
forth in sub-paragraph 2 above, In the event said payment is not made immediately for any reason,
I hereby authorize said law finn to intervene in my case for the purpose of collecting such amounts.
9. I understand that the law finn has made no representation or guarantees concerning
the outcome of my case,
10. I hereby appoint The Law Offices of Russell J. G. Amsberryas my lawful attorney-infact
with full power and authority to do all things in connection with the handling of my case
including but not limited to the power and authority to execute pleadings and other instruments
connècted with said case, the power to approve settlement agreements, orders or decrees, whether
temporary or final, and all other documents which I could properly execute;
11, I understand that all confidential conversations between an attorney and myself are
privileged and protected by law and the Code of
Professional Responsibility. I further understand
that in order to protect my interest it is critical that.my attorney is fully informed of all the facts, I
understand that my absolute candor is essential to said law firm providing effective representation;
12, Ifindicated by its immediate context, a masculine pronoun may include the feminine
and neuter genres or either of them;
13, I have read this contract in its entirety and understood its terms and conditions. I
agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein and understood that by my signatuli hereon
I am contractually binding myself to abide by and honor all of said terms and conditions,
14, I understand that nothing wil be commenced on my case until the RET AINER FEE
and COST DEPOSIT are paid in full,
15, Agreement. Client agrees to cooperate fully with Attorney in providing testimony,
docuinents and assistance in answering inquiries by Defendant and otherwise cooperating fully in
the presentation of the case and the provision of
information. Client agrees to keep Attorney advised
of all changes of employment, address, or"other events which may affeçt the outcome of this case.
