INVITATION TO THE ANNUAL LUNCHEON MEETING
OF THE HONG KONG TREFF - ZÜRICH
Sunday, March 20th, 2011 at 11.30
at the Gaswerk Winterthur
Since many years it has been a tradition of old “Hong Kong Hands” to meet for
lunch around the time of the Basel Watch Fair. This date would enable travellers
from Hong Kong to participate and meet up with friends living in Switzerland.
These excellent gatherings were always very successfully organized by Benno
Welschen and Eugene Coray and we thank them for their efforts during the past
years. It was felt that such tradition should continue and the generation gap should
be overcome by reaching out to “younger blood” and more recent returnees from
the wonderful World City of Hong Kong. To change the rhythm, we will meet at the
Gaswerk of the old industrial town of Winterthur to taste excellent Asian Food that
is especially prepared for us by the crew from El Tipico and have an enjoyable get
together.
Dress code: smart casual or casual.

Find the nearest car park around Gaswerk or take public transport .
Public Transport:
Option 1: Train to Winterthur, Bus Line Nr 1 direction Töss exit at Bus stop
„Gaswerk“ and walk for 5 Minutes follow the signs to the Hong Kong Treff.
Option 2: Train to Station Winterthur-Töss and walk for approx. 12 Minutes
direction City Center Winterthur towards Skulpture Park opposite Zürcherstrasse
76 and follow the signs.

What will be the costs?
For an impressive Buffet with Starter/Apéro, rich Asian Food and delicious
desserts, including beverages (water, coffee, tea)
CHF 95.- per Person (payment through Pay Pal)
CHF 50.- for children and teens up to 18 years old (Pay Pal)
CHF 110.- (in CASH!) for Walk-ins
Alcoholic drinks such as wine, beer and after lunch drinks will be served against
CASH payment.

People interested in a 2 hours guided tour will meet at 09.30 at the Main Station
Winterthur at the top of the stairs called “Stadttor” near the bus station.
The cost is Fr. 18.- per Person.
