Suspension<br />
A-Frame Ski Carry<br />
Dual, lower reinforced ski carry<br />
loops and upper reinforced V-carry<br />
straps combine for A-frame style<br />
ski carry. A Slip tails through lower<br />
loops tips up, B clip the upper<br />
V-carry straps around the bindings<br />
of the skis, re-engage buckle and<br />
tension straps for stable ski carry.<br />

Diagonal Ski Carry<br />
Suspension systems consist<br />
of an HDPE framesheet,<br />
LightWire peripheral<br />
alloy frame (38, 30 only),<br />
thermo-sculpted SnowShed <br />

harness for the utmost<br />

and the lower reinforced<br />
ski carry straps to carry skis<br />
diagonally to either the<br />

The thermo-sculpted SnowShed <br />
backpanel is designed to shed<br />
snow, provide ventilation and<br />
deliver an outstanding pack-tobody<br />
interface.<br />
ErgoPull Hipbelt<br />
<strong>Kode</strong> 30: Backpanel Entry/Access<br />
The <strong>Kode</strong> 30 offers both<br />
backpanel access to your<br />
hydration sleeve and dry<br />
pocket as well as panel<br />
load access to your avy<br />
gear compartment. For<br />
backpanel entry, unclip<br />
the load lifter straps<br />
at the top of the harness to gain access to the dual<br />
zipper pulls. For panel load access to the snow tool<br />
compartment, unclip the top V-carry straps to gain<br />
access to the panel load zipper pulls.<br />
Vertical Board Carry<br />
Using the upper reinforced<br />
V-carry straps with the<br />
lower reinforced carry straps<br />
you can carry snowboards,<br />

skis or snowshoes. A Using<br />
the quick release buckle,<br />
open both top and bottom<br />

straps and secure by reconnecting<br />
upper and lower quick release buckles and<br />
tensioning strap. Reverse to remove.<br />
Wet/Dry Gear Division<br />
Every <strong>Kode</strong> <strong>Series</strong> pack<br />
features internal wet<br />
avy/dry gear division<br />
with varying access<br />
between models. One<br />
compartment contains<br />
an avy gear pocket with<br />
shovel/probe/tools<br />
sleeves, while a separate compartment accommodates<br />
extra clothing and other dry gear.<br />
Micro-Fleece Goggle Pocket<br />
Each <strong>Kode</strong> <strong>Series</strong> pack<br />
features an internal, sewn-in<br />
microfleece goggle pocket to<br />
keep your eyewear scratch free<br />
and at the ready.<br />
Hipbelt Pockets<br />
All <strong>Kode</strong> <strong>Series</strong> packs<br />
come equipped with<br />
dual, articulated zipper<br />
hipbelt pockets designed<br />
for one hand operation<br />
and easy access to<br />
essentials.<br />
Ice Tool Carry<br />
A single tool loop works with<br />
the upper V-carry straps to<br />
provide secure ice tool carry.<br />
All <strong>Kode</strong> <strong>Series</strong> packs use<br />
our exclusive ErgoPull <br />
hipbelt design. To operate<br />
the ErgoPull , loosen the<br />
webbing enough so you can<br />
connect the center buckle.<br />
Then grasp the loose ends<br />
of the webbing on either<br />
side, and pull in and across evenly with both hands at<br />
the same time.<br />

<strong>Kode</strong> 38: Backpanel Access<br />
The <strong>Kode</strong> 38 offers both<br />
backpanel access to your<br />
hydration sleeve and dry<br />
pocket as well as top load<br />
access to your avy gear<br />
compartment. For backpanel<br />
entry, unclip the load lifter<br />
straps at the top of the<br />
harness to gain access to the<br />
dual zipper pulls. For top<br />
access, unclip the top pocket<br />
retention straps to flip back<br />
the top pocket and access through the skirt collar.<br />
<strong>Kode</strong> 30: Helmet Carry<br />
The <strong>Kode</strong> 30 features a stowable<br />
helmet carry system. To use: A<br />

Unzip the top slash compartment<br />
containing the helmet cap and<br />
extend from pocket. B Locate<br />
the helmet icon at the top of<br />
the pack and click in helmet<br />
chinstrap. C Pull helmet cap<br />

over helmet and engage two<br />
A male buckles into the two female<br />
buckles located opposite the<br />
load lifter straps at the top of<br />
the pack. Reverse to remove.<br />
HydraForm Reservoir<br />
Add an <strong>Osprey</strong> HydraForm <br />
2 or 3 liter hydration reservoir<br />
to your pack for stable,<br />
efficient, on-the-go water<br />

Bungee Tie Zipper Pull<br />
A bungee zipper pull at the<br />
top of the pack is designed to<br />
secure longer probes or shovel<br />
handles that may extend from<br />
the snow tool pocket (<strong>Kode</strong> 30,<br />
22). Wrap the bungee around the<br />
object and secure the hook to<br />
the traditional zipper pull.<br />
Hydration<br />
An internal sewn-in hydration<br />
sleeve with reservoir hanger<br />
and a fully insulated, dual<br />
zippered harness router with<br />
hypo-allergenic stretch garage<br />
provides for hassle- and ice-free<br />
hydration.<br />
<strong>Kode</strong> 38: Top Load Helmet Carry<br />
The <strong>Kode</strong> 38 features an<br />
expandable top pocket helmet<br />
carry system with sewn-in<br />
micro-fleece goggle pocket.<br />
The bottom zipper on the rear<br />
of the top pocket gains you<br />
access to the main helmet<br />
compartment and goggle<br />
pocket. The top zipper contains<br />
a bellows feature and can be<br />
unzipped to create more space to accommodate larger<br />
sized helmets.<br />
