Fees<br />

Fees for each course are listed with the course<br />

details. You may be entitled to free or discounted<br />

study if you meet the criteria set out below. If you do<br />

not meet these criteria please contact the Student<br />

Welfare Team on (023) 9232 8954 as you may still be<br />

eligible for a fee reduction.<br />

Financial Support<br />

Students aged 19 and over can also<br />

apply for help with the cost of<br />

childcare, travel, kit, uniform,<br />

equipment and other expenses<br />

associated with the cost of coming<br />

to <strong>College</strong>.<br />

Free or Discounted Study<br />

If you meet any of the following<br />

criteria you may be eligible for free<br />

or discounted study:<br />

• You are aged 19 to 23 years<br />

and in receipt of active<br />

benefits (e.g. Job Seeker’s<br />

Allowance, Employment<br />

Support Allowance).<br />

• You are aged 24+ and in<br />

receipt of active benefits<br />

(e.g. Job Seeker’s Allowance,<br />

Employment Support<br />

Allowance) and studying<br />

below Level 3.<br />

• You are aged 19 to 23 years<br />

and wish to study for your first<br />

full Level 2 qualification (BTEC<br />

Level 2, NVQ Level 2 or<br />

equivalent).<br />

• You are aged 19 to 23 years<br />

and wish to study for your first<br />

full Level 3 qualification (A<br />

Levels, BTEC Level 3, NVQ<br />

Level 3 or equivalent).<br />

• You are of any age and wish<br />

to study at foundation level or<br />

undertake an essential skill -<br />

Maths or English.<br />

• You are an asylum seeker and<br />

have been here for six months<br />

or longer.<br />

• You are aged under 19 on 31<br />

August <strong>2013</strong>.<br />

• You are aged over 60 at the<br />

to boost your job prospects or help<br />

Fee Payment<br />

All course fees are payable at the<br />

<strong>time</strong> of enrolment. If the annual<br />

course fee is over £150 you may be<br />

able to pay by instalments (subject to<br />

agreement at enrolment). If your<br />

course is being paid for by a third<br />

party, such as your employer, you<br />

will be given the appropriate<br />

documentation at enrolment.<br />
