on hand with advice on formulating a<br />
business plan and sourcing funding.<br />

Adult Enterprise <strong>Course</strong>s<br />
Over 40% of UK adults say they<br />
would like to start a business or<br />
become self-employed. Only 5%<br />
ever actually do so.<br />
The Level 1 Certificate in Learning<br />
Business & Enterprise Skills and the<br />
Level 2 First Steps to Enterprise are<br />
new qualifications that could give<br />
you the skills and confidence you<br />

These flexible courses let you learn<br />
at your own pace and will help you<br />
to decide whether running a<br />
business is right for you. Once you<br />
have made up your mind that<br />
starting your own business is the<br />
right step, you can progress to<br />
more specialised Level 3 courses<br />
to help you create, launch and grow<br />
your business.<br />
New start-up loan<br />
scheme launched<br />
Get your business off the ground with<br />
a start-up loan.<br />
A unique new business start-up<br />
finance programme for entrepreneurs<br />
is now available. Called Launcher, and<br />
supported by the School for Start-ups<br />
and Gazelle, the initiative aims to<br />
support the development of over<br />
30,000 new businesses. You could be<br />
one of them!<br />
As well as a low-cost loan (6.5%), new<br />
business owners, aged 18-30, will<br />
have access to world-class teaching,<br />
a supportive community and regular<br />
mentoring to give their business the<br />
best chance of success.<br />
Launcher loans are available to British<br />
citizens or legal residents of England<br />
aged between 18 and 30 and can be<br />
up to £9,900.<br />
The application process is easy.<br />
