Kiln must be 18" from any wall. Do not place kiln on
flammable surfaces or near flammable materials.

FK-7 Furniture Kit
for the EC-55 And HF-97 KILNs
n The furniture kit listed below consists of shelves and shelf supports specifically
designed for the EC-55 and HF-97. The kiln shelves are cordierite refractory and
have a maximum temperature of Cone 1 (2109°F, 1154°C).
n Shelves and shelf supports can be custom stacked for each firing to maximize
kiln space.
n Also included is a 4 lb. box of AMACO® Kiln Shelf Wash to make glaze drippings
easy to remove as well as prolonging shelf life.

Suspended KILNVENT SPECIFICATIONS
n Using patented Orton Downdraft technology, the Suspended KilnVent safely
pulls gasses out of the kiln, mixes them with room air, and exhausts them to the
outside through 4" ducting. In addition to making the kiln room safer, the
Suspended KilnVent:
n Creates more uniform temperatures throughout the kiln chamber
n Circulates oxygen into the kiln which helps reds, greens, golds, and yellows to
be brighter and more vibrant

EXPANSION KIT
Using patented Orton Downdraft technology, the Master KilnVent safely pulls
gasses out of the kiln, mixes them with room air, and exhausts them to the outside
through 4" ducting. In addition to making the kiln room safer, the Master KilnVent:
Creates more uniform temperatures throughout the kiln chamber
Circulates oxygen into the kiln which helps reds, greens, golds, and yellows to
be brighter and more vibrant
Optional Expansion Kit allows the Master KilnVent to vent two kilns.
