Psychology is defined as the scientific study of behaviour and the<br />
mind. You will study the principles governing behaviour through<br />
lectures, labs, seminars and opportunities for participation in ongoing<br />
faculty research in areas such as: sleep, dreams, sexuality,<br />
anxiety, emotional intelligence, learned resourcefulness, language<br />
impairment, attachment, development, perception and memory.<br />
You will acquire both the research skills and a broadly-based<br />
background in the basic content of the discipline, combined<br />

Food is necessary for human life and central to our civilization.<br />
Agriculture presents environmental, economic and social<br />
challenges, but promises new ways of producing healthy,<br />
sustainable and affordable food. In your studies of Sustainable<br />
Agriculture and Food Systems, you will develop an understanding<br />
of contemporary issues in organic food, food safety, fair trade<br />
and many other aspects of food and agriculture. You will learn<br />
from professors with backgrounds in environmental science,<br />
anthropology, biology, international development studies<br />
and other diverse fields, and will gain an interdisciplinary<br />
understanding of the scientific, political and social dimensions of<br />
food and agriculture.<br />
