Densen B-400+ / XS
CD player
The two Densen CD players are both built around the same
drive unit with a glass lens. Even though the front panel is very
simple in layout, the CD-players actually contain a lot of features, which
can be accessed via the
Gizmo remote. If you have
the older B-400, it can
be upgraded to the B-
400+. The B-400+ is
based on the B-400 XS,
which is now a reference for
several audio magazines.You can upgrade
the B-400+ to the XS version. One of the reasons for this is
the unique PlusBit Technology©. Developing the B-400XS,we
have done a lot of rethinking about traditional CD player
design, and have come up with several unique solutions. The
XS converter contains the groundbreaking
new PlusBit
Technology© from
Densen. In the B-
400XS, the Plus- Bit
Technology© mathematically
adds one extra bit,
so that the original source material, instead
of containing 16 bits, contains 17.
Back panel connections:
a: Preout 1: Line level output of the B-400.
set to off when not in use, for optimal performance.
