D-Wars begins with an antique dealer named Jack
(Robert Forster) watching a young patron, Ethan
Kendrick (Cody Erens) getting zapped with a force
emanating from a chest in his shop. Realizing the
significance of this event, Jack bequeaths a medal to
the boy and speaks to him of events that happened a
half-millennium ago. In a bygone era, giant creatures
called Buraki roamed the land, morphing from
serpents into dragons and back again. An ancient
warrior-apprentice saved the life of his beloved
from these monstrosities. The warrior’s spirit was
contained in the aforementioned chest, and it has
now filled Ethan. Jack advises Eathan to seek out
the incarnation of the ancient warrior’s beloved,
she can be recognized by a red dragon tattoo on
her shoulder. When the woman reaches her 20th
birthday she and Ethan will be able to reincarnate
Imoogi as dragons. It isn’t long before the Buraki
serpent and all of his enormous minions resurface
and decide to lay waste to the City of Angels, as

Neil Jordan’s The Brave One stars Jodie Foster as
a happy woman whose life changes irrevocably
after a brutal assault leaves her partner (Naveen
Andrews) dead. The woman, feeling that the
police investigation will be unable to catch the
perpetrators, begins to live in constant fear. This
outlook results in the woman eventually dispatching
vigilante justice. Terrence Howard co-stars as the
