Parents & Citizens Annual General Meeting (AGM)
7.30pm Wednesday 20 th March 2013
The 2013 Annual General Meeting of the Ascot State School P & C Association will
be held on Wednesday 20 th March at 7.30pm in the School Hall.
All memberships and positions of the P & C Executive and Subcommittees fall vacant
and election of new Executive and Subcommittee office bearers are conducted on
the night.
P & C Executive
All roles within the Executive are dictated by the P & C Association’s Constitution and
the Executive comprises:
• President;
• Vice President;
• Treasurer; and
• Secretary.
Subcommittees
Subcommittees that contribute to the benefit of students attending the school are:
• Physical Environment;
• Tuckshop;
• Uniform Shop;
• Swim Club;
• Friends of Music (FoM); and
• Friends of Visual Arts and Design (FoVAD)
Parents and citizens wishing to nominate for an Executive or Subcommittee office
bearer position are invited to:
• Complete the attached Nomination Form
• Lodge a completed Nomination Form at the School Administration Office by
3.00pm Friday 15 th March 2011 addressed to the P&C Secretary,
or
• Lodge nominations on the evening of the Annual General Meeting.

Membership of the P&C Association
• To vote at P&C General meetings and/or hold an Executive or office bearer’s
position, attendance at the AGM or one P&C General meeting prior is
essential;
• Members of Subcommittees must be members of the P&C Association;
• Parents and citizens who are unable to attend the meeting, but would like to
be a member of the Association can also lodge their membership
applications, addressed to the P&C Secretary, at the School Administration
Office, by 3.00pm, Friday 15 th March 2013;
• Application forms for membership are available at the Administration Office.
