FROM THE DESK OF THE EDITOR/PUBLISHER
Two of the three largest conferences we support
with our booth and physical presence are now over.
This issue will be hitting the newsstands on the edge
of the deadline that we have set for each edition because
we wanted to get all the news and photos from
ASQ’s WCQI printed and published in a timely
manner. Thanks to those that have made that goal
possible: Dilip Shah and Elias Monreal.
A huge congratulations go out to the division for achieving the highest
award possible for an ASQ division: the J. S. McDermond Quality Award
for 2008-2009. We have set the bar extremely high for ourselves and hope
to continue to achieve this same level for the coming years. Congratulations
to the officers who made this possible during that time frame: Craig
Niemann, Chair; Dilip Shah, Chair-elect; Chris Grachanen, Treasurer; and
Jay Bucher, Secretary.
The MQD quarterly teleconference meeting at 2010 NCSL International
teleconference meeting minutes are included in this issue. Thanks to all
who participated in each, and to those who support us on a regular basis.
