26 PONY PARK DRAG believed to have been built in the early 20th C; to<br />
suit a team of 12-2 to 13-2 hh ponies. A delightful, well-appointed<br />
and well-proportioned scale version, which is presented for sale in a<br />
nice condition, the original unders and iron shod wheels having been<br />
restored and the body extensively rebuilt. The upper panels are in<br />
a glossy black finish, the lower panels, front seat risers, wheels and<br />
unders being in dark blue, the lining where used in light blue. The<br />
upholstery is in navy Melton, the coach being fully furnished with<br />
leader bars and spares, two poles, brake shoe and ladder; the rear<br />
boot is fitted with two boxes for picnic, china and napery. The Park<br />
Drag is ready for showing having been successfully shown in North<br />
America in the 1990’s by Mr McCormack<br />
27 WAGONETTE, the hubs marked Guilford, London to suit 15 to 16<br />
hh, single or pair; recently restored, the body finished in racing<br />
green, on black unders, with yellow lining, the upholstery in<br />
black needlecord. An upstanding vehicle, with a handbrake and<br />
swingletree, which will be sold with shafts<br />
28 SHETLAND CART, on pneumatic tyres, to suit a pony approx. 25ins;<br />
the body with ‘bent’ panelled sides, with metal shafts, recently<br />
painted navy blue, with green upholstery<br />
29 LEFTLEY GIG built by R J & W E Leftley of Llandysul, Dyfed in 1984<br />
to suit a Shetland; the fibreglass body painted brown, on yellow<br />
wheels, with buttoned beige draylon upholstery. Purchased<br />
new from a Reading carriage sale in 1984 by the present owner<br />
and since kept under cover, and now in need of some attention,<br />
although in running order<br />
30 VICTORIAN TRADE CART by Cromwell Carriage & Cycle Works,<br />
Glasgow; the owners board inscribed Major Wisley, Chesterhill. On<br />
