QUEENSLAND ASSOCIATION FOR GIFTED AND TALENTED CHILDREN INC. GOLD COAST BRANCH QAGTC Gold Coast Branch organise a range of workshops once a month for gifted children of the Gold Coast. For August 2011 be involved in………… Skepticism, curiosity and wonderment have surrounded the wonders of the world for centuries. But are there seven wonders? What makes the wonders so wonderful and how is it decided? What and where are they, how were they built and did they exist? What is the mystery surrounding the wonders of our world that go back millenia? We will have a host of exciting investigations using art, pictures, stories, construction and imagination where we will explore the many wonders of the natural, ancient and modern worlds. When: Saturday 27 th August, 2.00pm - 4pm, (please arrive at 1:45pm for registration) Grades: Year levels 1-4 Where: Queensland Academy for Health Sciences (QAHS), Edmund Rice Dr, Southport Workshop Presenter: Lyn Morris Cost of event: Member cost: $20 Non-member cost: $30 Booking and Payment Details: Places are strictly limited for this workshop - first in will reserve a place. Bookings and payment are mandatory. Please book and pay as soon as possible to secure a place and avoid disappointment. Step 1: Email your details to our Treasurer at gc_treasurer@qagtc.org.au . Please include name of child(ren), grade, parent(s) name, email address and mobile number and please let us know if you are a member of QAGTC. Step 2: Pay your workshop fee via EFT – details will be emailed to you once your Step 1 email has been received. Please deposit the funds directly into the QAGTC bank account making sure to put your surname with “0049” in the description. Bookings are only confirmed once this payment has been received. Or book via the website http://www.qagtc.org.au/gold-coast Bookings must be made with full payment by Monday 22 nd August 2011. Unfortunately no late payments can be accepted. Payments made without booking and bookings made without payment cannot be accepted. Please follow steps 1 & 2 above. You will receive a confirmation of your booking before the workshop. If you do not receive a confirmation please email gc_treasurer@qagtc.org.au . QAGTC Inc. Gold Coast Branch Refund/Cancellation: QAGTC Inc. Gold Coast Branch reserves the right to cancel events – if an event is cancelled a full refund will be given, or funds can be transferred to another event. No refunds will be issued if an attendee cancels within 7 days of any event. QAGTC is a not-for-profit member-funded volunteer-based association relying on public support to support gifted children, their families and teachers. The opinions expressed at this activity by guest speakers and by QAGTC volunteers are those of the individual concerned and not necessarily of QAGTC. QAGTC Inc.
