English Language Requirements
In order to meet visa requirements English must be of a sufficient standard to cope with the course as outlined in
the course entry requirements. For students entering Years 7 to 12, the School requires the student to undertake
an assessment through the Australian Education Assessment Services (AEAS). This can be done in the student’s
home country, or here in Australia. Further information can be found at www.aeas.com.au.
Where a student’s proficiency in the use of the English language is insufficient to enable him to succeed in
the course in which he would like to enrol, the School would suggest that he undertake three to nine months
between 12 and 36 weeks study at an ELICOS centre before entering the School.
There are two ELICOS Colleges in the area close to the School:
If the School believes the student would benefit from extra tutoring in English in addition to the support the
School provides, the School will require you to arrange extra tutoring at your expense. This would be discussed
with the parent/legal guardian prior to implementation.
